Eric Martin

CFP®

Eric Martin began his career in the financial planning industry in 1985 and has been in the business for more than 30 years. In 1999 Martin, Wardin & Eissner Financial Group was formed, and Eric moved his office to Pleasanton.

Eric enjoys helping people. Financial planning has been a perfect career choice for him and enables him to have a very meaningful impact on the lives of those he serves. He enjoys client interaction and the opportunity to help solve problems that often seem very complex and overwhelming. He hopes to continue to serve his clients for many years to come.

In 1991, he married Anne Athenour and moved to Pleasanton, where she was born and raised. Eric and Anne have two children, Jenna and Mikey. Mikey is currently attending Amador High, and Jenna is attending San Diego State University. One of their favorite places to relax is Arnold, California, where they like to fish, kayak, canoe, snow ski, water ski, and hike.

Eric developed his passion for the outdoors as a teenager living in the foothills outside of Suisun Valley here in California. Of course, times were different then, but he often left in the morning with a BB gun and his dog Lobo and didn't return from hiking and "exploring" until close to dark. He also developed his passion for basketball, playing one-on-one with a friend, using a basket bolted to the side of a barn, while trying to dribble and avoid the many potholes in the "court." It was during these years that he also learned the value of hard work, often doing odd jobs at the surrounding ranches.

Greg Eissner

CFP®, AIF®

Greg Eissner is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and vice president and cofounder of Martin, Wardin & Eissner Financial Group, Inc. He has worked in the financial planning and wealth management field since 1991. Greg designs and implements customized financial plans and solutions for businesses and high-net-worth individuals. Greg has a vision of "financial independence for every client so they are free to pursue their life's purpose and dreams with passion."

Greg graduated from San Jose State University with a BS in finance, with an emphasis in portfolio management, and completed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification program from the University of Denver's National Association for Education. Greg is currently working toward his master's degree in financial planning through the Institute of Business and Finance. As an active member of the Financial Planning Association, he participates in continuing education workshops and seminars in the areas of financial planning, investments, taxes, and insurance. Greg holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, and 63 securities registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network® and is also licensed for insurance purposes in California.

Greg's passion to help people succeed financially stems from childhood memories of friends and family making poor financial decisions, which often led to ruin. Financial literacy is lacking in today's society, and financial education is nonexistent in the public school system. Helping his clients make sound financial decisions has proven to transform lives.

Greg and his lovely wife, Jennifer, have been married since January 2003. They have two sons, Drew and AJ, who keep them very busy. Greg enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, reading, and sports. He is involved in various professional and community organizations and is an active member of his church.

Ryan has been in the financial planning industry since 2005.

Within the multitude of financial planning disciplines, Ryan has focused his practice in these primary areas:
